Small W bow earrings

These earrings belong to the Brave! collection, and the W series is inspired by the flight of the ribbon in rhythmic gymnastics.

Maite has a personal fascination with rhythmic gymnastics, with all its routines, with ball or ribbon. But the ribbon seems beautiful to her: all its flight, the shapes it draws in the air. One day she wondered what a photo of that flight would look like. This is it: the flight of the ribbon at your ear.

Brave! is about the reward: having beaten your fears and taking your time to enjoy the win. The small ones are the easiest way to carry it with you every day.

The colour comes from there too. Ribbons are usually coloured, and Maite is a big fan of rhythmic gymnastics leotards, always in bright, vibrant colours.

Each bow starts from a single line that is curled by hand, looking for the movement of the ribbon in the air.

Then it is matted and receives the white bronze plating, the 24-carat gold plating and a final hypoallergenic coating. In the coloured versions, the enamel is painted by hand, piece by piece, with bisphenol-free enamels: dense colours that give the piece stability.

They are made on Calle Alameda, in the Barrio de las Letras, in a workshop you can visit.

They are small, 3 cm, and you wear them on their own, every day, without thinking about it. Matte gold goes with everything; the coloured ones add a touch of joy.

They match the W ring, brooch or pendant from the same series.

The hypoallergenic coating protects the pieces from contact with skin and perfume. Keep them dry and on their own, and avoid putting on perfume while wearing them. With normal use and this care, the gold plating lasts for years.
