2. Purpose
These legal terms govern access to and use of the website gingerandvelvet.com, through which Ginger & Velvet presents its workshop and sells handmade author jewellery. Browsing the site makes you a user and implies acceptance of these terms.
The terms of purchase are set out in the Terms of Service, the Shipping Policy and the Exchange and Returns Policy.
3. Terms of use
The user undertakes to use the site lawfully, not to use it for purposes contrary to the law, good faith or public order, and not to carry out actions that could damage, disable or overload the site or prevent its normal use by other users.
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide and for keeping their customer account credentials confidential, if they create one.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
The designs of the pieces, the photographs, the texts, the illustrations, the logo and the Ginger & Velvet trademark, as well as the selection and arrangement of the site's content, belong to the site owner or are used under the necessary licences, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
Their reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other form of exploitation without prior written authorisation is prohibited. Users may view and download content for private, non-commercial use, keeping all attribution notices intact.
5. Liability
We take reasonable steps to keep the published information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee the complete absence of typographical errors or availability issues. Photographs are illustrative: because the pieces are handmade, there may be small variations in colour, tone or finish compared with the image, and every piece is slightly different.
We are not liable for service interruptions, for failures of the user's own connection, or for damage caused by viruses or malicious software introduced by third parties, without prejudice to the obligations that consumer law places on the seller in respect of the goods sold.

The site may contain links to third-party pages (social networks, payment providers, review platforms). We neither control nor take responsibility for their content or their privacy policies.

8. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Spanish law, in particular by Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and by the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
Where the user is a consumer, the competent court shall be the one for their place of residence, in accordance with consumer protection law. In dealings with users who are not consumers, the parties submit to the courts of the city of Madrid.
Consumers may also contact the consumer affairs services of their region or the municipal consumer information office in their area.
