Summer 2011, Havana boardwalk. The sun was setting over the Gulf of Mexico; a mojito in hand and the mind lost in inconsequential things. At that moment I find myself humming and moving my shoulders to the sound of a song performed by the Panchos. It lasted just over 2 minutes, but that state of semi-consciousness and total relaxation remained in my mind forever. That's Vereda Tropical.
