Fine double Jackie choker

Jackie is the series that tells it most elegantly. Its larger pieces carry agates and chains; this choker is its most restrained version, the one that keeps only what matters.

Two fine chains that run together without becoming one. And the colour, instead of sitting at the front, hides in the clasp, at the nape of the neck. Like those changes not everyone sees, but you know are there.

The choker is put together by hand in the workshop: two fine chains that have to fall parallel, without tangling.

The clasp is enamelled piece by piece, in black or green, with bisphenol-free enamels. It is a small surface and it has to be perfectly level so the colour sets smooth.

Then it is matted and receives the white bronze plating, the 24-carat gold plating and a final hypoallergenic coating.

It is made on Calle Alameda, in the Barrio de las Letras, in a workshop you can visit.

It is an everyday piece: it works with a white T-shirt as well as with an evening dress. It looks great on its own, and you can also pair it with a Jackie agate necklace when you want more.

The enamelled clasp sits at the nape of the neck: with your hair up, that touch of colour shows.

The hypoallergenic coating protects the piece from contact with skin and perfume. Keep it dry and on its own, and avoid putting on perfume while wearing it. With normal use and this care, the gold plating lasts for years.

Store it laid flat or hanging so the two chains don't tangle.
